Compliance Supervisor

The job holder will be the primary point of contact responsible for effectively managing human resources to optimize productivity, profitability, and employee satisfaction. Additionally, they will oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) tasks, as well as quality control, assurance, and food safety activities in production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct employee orientation programs.
• Identify and manage training and development needs.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Facilitate and monitor performance management processes.
• Represent the company in external dispute resolution forums.
• Maintain HR information systems and employee databases.
• Coordinate employee safety, welfare, and wellness initiatives.
• Administer HR policies and health, safety, and environmental programs.
• Implement and monitor safety programs, including inductions and hazard awareness.
• Conduct HSE training for employees and supervisors, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Provide regular reports on HSE performance to senior management.
• Investigate and report workplace incidents, implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct safety inspections and develop action plans to address risks.
• Ensure risk assessments are completed and implemented for all plant operations.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety standards.
• Evaluate fire risks and ensure the effectiveness of fire protection systems.
• Maintain emergency response plans and ensure proper training of emergency teams.
• Ensure the availability of PPE for relevant employees.
• Oversee measurement and testing of equipment.
• Maintain compliance with quality, food safety, and customer relationship standards.
• Manage quality control processes and staff training to uphold safety and quality standards.

. REQUIREMENTS

• Trade related occupational certification
• A minimum of 3-5 years industry work experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven track of leading people
• Effective communication skills
