
Head of Global Quality Assurance (all gender)
What you will enjoy doing
As Head of Global Quality Assurance, you will lead ALPLA's global quality organization and shape the company-wide quality strategy. In this senior leadership role, you ensure the standardization and harmonization of quality assurance processes across all regions, define quality standards, KPIs, and systems, and drive a sustainable Zero Defect Mindset. Acting as the global quality ambassador, you strengthen customer partnerships.
- Promoting a company-wide quality mindset through training, workshops, and global improvement programs
- Ensuring effective quality assurance by fostering quality-related controlling, analyzing performance trends and quality costs, and deriving specific CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) initiatives
- Establishing global standards as well as monitoring and further developing structured complaint management with clear escalation processes
- Managing the end-to-end quality assurance system by further establishing global standards and methods and further developing CAQ software
- Strengthening product and process stability, optimizing laboratories and equipment, and driving digitalization and AI initiatives in the field of Quality Assurance
- Building close relationships with strategic customers, negotiating quality agreements, and ensuring professional complaint management
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and creating a link to new business areas such as Pharma and Recycling
What makes you great
- A university degree in a technical or quality-related field, combined with solid professional experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing industry (preferably in regulated industries such as food, beverage, or pharma)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in customer interactions
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; a Black Belt certification is an advantage
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide and develop international teams
- An analytical and dynamic leadership style, combined with strong training and facilitation skills
- Fluency in both English and German, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely
- High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally
