Main Responsibilities:

  • Company Culture, HR Policies & Procedures
    • Maintain company image and boost the company culture
    • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures according to organizational needs.
    • Train and interpret HR policies to the HR team.
  • Personnel Planning and Controlling
    • Determine demand and manage personnel planning and controlling for China.
    • Control quantitative and qualitative personnel planning, support budgeting.
    • Set up and maintain reporting and monitoring for key tasks and performance indicators.
  • Talent Management
    • Professionally manage talent review and advancement panels.
    • Identify and develop qualified, committed, and motivated talents.
    • Initiate talent development activities to support business needs.
  • Training and Development
    • Design and deliver training plans to meet developmental needs.
    • Support line managers in identifying training needs and implementing programs.
    • Ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Recruiting/Staffing
    • Develop policies and frameworks for manpower planning.
    • Coordinate recruitment processes and support line managers.
    • Supervise job applications, interviews, and probation performance.
  • Performance Management
    • Manage the performance appraisal system and provide training.
    • Ensure smooth performance management processes and provide recommendations.
  • Compensation and Benefits
    • Assess local market conditions and salary review guidance.
    • Design competitive reward systems and maintain compliance with legislation.
    • Ensure personnel files are up-to-date and legally compliant.
  • Employee Relations
    • Communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, and standards to employees and management.
    • Respond to employee relations issues and support managers in dispute cases.
  • HR Administration

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum University degree in Human Resources Management, Administrative Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a managerial position within a WOFE in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a start-up environment is beneficial.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Native Chinese, Excellent English proficiency is a MUST
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions.
  • Strong leadership, managerial, mentoring, and counseling skills.
  • Responsible, organized, and professional in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under stress, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated, independent, proactive and positive.
